Meet Santa Dave!
Santa Dave, a graduate of the Charles W. Howard Santa School, is a real bearded Santa Claus ready to make your holiday season magical. Santa Dave has worked with the Ohio History Connection and the Ohio Village, appearing at their annual Dickens of a Christmas event. He has appeared on Good Day Columbus with Cameron Fontana. Santa Dave, when not helping spreading Christmas cheer is a kindergarten teacher! With over 25 years (and counting) in education, he knows how to communicate and work with children to make their Santa experience truly magical.
My Story
I got my love for Christmas honestly. I inherited it from my mother. Growing up, Christmas was absolutely magical. Decorations were always in order, Christmas Eve was always a night of celebration and Christmas morning was sheer joy as myself and my brothers opened up our gifts. My mother may not be with us but her spirit and love of Christmas endures. I have tried to impart the magic of Christmas in my daughters and would love to help spread Christmas magic for you!
Charles Dickens famously wrote in A Christmas Carol,
“… it was always said of him that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. May that be truly said of us, and all of us!”
It was true for my mother and something I work toward daily. Spreading Christmas cheer is a family tradition.
